高エネルギーCID MS/MS分析によるペプチド中のLeu/Ileの判別におけるN末端修飾の効果
High energy collision induced dissociation (HE-CID) is effective to discriminate between isobaric Leu and Ile in de novo sequencing of peptides. In this study, we derivatized the N-terminus of a peptide by using several derivatization reagents, which have the high proton affinity, and compared their effects on generation of d-ions necessary for Leu/Ile discrimination under HE-CID conditions. Among three tested reagents, 4-(guanidinomethyl)benzoic acid was the most effective for generation of d-ions.
