生体組織切片に含まれるアンモニアの質量イメージング法による評価
To acquire a mass image of ammonia gas dissolved in a tissue section, we develop a method for detecting ammonium ion adducts of lipids. Considering that ammonia is prone to evaporation under vacuum condition, we combined low vacuum matrix sublimation and atmospheric pressure MALDI MS imaging. By this in situ visualizing approach, we revealed the accumulation of ammonia in liver parenchyma of tumor-metastasizing liver of superimmunodeficient mice with human colon cancer xenografts, benefiting investigation of the metabolic interplay between cancer and the host tissues.
