We have been developing Mass++, a high-performance spectrum viewer that has been downloaded more than 16,000 times to date. The latest version, Ver.4, is currently in development as open-source software, newly rewritten in Java for compatibility across multiple operating systems. For this release, we have refined and consolidated the various functions developed to date into an official Ver. 4 (Ver.4 Gold) package. This version focuses on basic functions, especially those related spectrum and chromatogram display, including zooming, peak labeling, exporting spectra/chromatograms as image files, and filtering spectra based on m/z and retention time values. Ver.4 Gold package will be released for four operating system environments.
