Metabolomics and proteomics research has advanced through novel liquid chromatography technologies. For metabolomics, the unified-HILIC/AEX/MS method integrates hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) and anion-exchange chromatography (AEX) using a mixed amine-modified polymer column and alkaline mobile phase. This unified method enhances metabolite coverage by separating hydrophilic metabolites in a single run. Compared to conventional methods, it yields approximately 1.6 times more metabolite peaks, offering superior comprehensiveness as well as retention stability. The Gelpack GL-HilicAex column is central to this method, making it a powerful and accessible tool for researchers.

In proteomics, Evosep's technology streamlines workflows with the Evotip, which supports sample clean-up and partial elution. It removes hydrophobic contaminants, prolonging column life and allowing continuous high-throughput analysis. The system also enables automated sample loading, reducing manual labor and contributing to sustainability through miniaturized, cost-efficient protocols. Together, these innovations significantly enhance sensitivity, reproducibility, and environmental sustainability in omics research.
