Skin gas is a type of biogas that is recognized as a body odor and has both a
gaseous component that dissipates from the skin surface and a component that is contained
in sweat and seeps out from inside the body. Skin gases are known to change due to physical
and environmental factors such as age, gender, lifestyle, and diet, as well as psychological
factors such as stress. Therefore, skin gas analysis has become increasingly important to clarify
the physical and physiological state, the presence or absence of disease, and the mental state
of humans. However, skin gas is a very small amount, and its sampling technique and analysis
method are not well-developed, and even if it can be detected sensuously, it is often difficult
to detect by instrumental analysis. Therefore, in this study, we report an attempt to conduct
a comprehensive analysis and a detailed comparative analysis using GCxGC-TOFMS, which
acquires full spectrum acquisition with ultra-high sensitivity
