アルツハイマー病のバイオマーカーの探索及びその分子基盤の解明に向けたアプローチ;血漿プロテオミクスとリピドミクスを統合したパイロット研究
In the clinical research field, mass spectrometry is expected to contribute to the exploration for disease biomarkers and the elucidation of the molecular basis of disease. Multi-omics approach is considered to become an indispensable tool for the elucidation of these issues. Blood sample is widely used for omics study as a minimally invasive clinical sample and it reflects the status of diseased organs. To exploit the advantage of multi-omics study in the medical research field, improvement of reproducibility, quantitativeness, and throughput of measurement systems is essential. In this presentation, we will show our latest strategy for improvement throughput and reproducibility in proteomics and lipidomics, and the results of our attempt to construct hypotheses by integrating proteomics and lipidomics using plasma samples of mild Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment, and normal cognitive function.
