解析スループットの向上が、質量分析を用いたプロテオミクス解析の価値を高める

In proteomic analysis using mass spectrometry, we generally use LC-MS, but the low analysis throughput due to the washing time of the LC column is a major problem. Low analysis throughput slows the acquisition of results, increases the potential cost per sample, reduces the reliability of the analysis due to the omission of iterative analysis samples, which clearly reduces the overall value of MS based proteomic analysis. To solve this problem, we recently introduced a new LC device (EVOSEP ONE) that solves the washing time problem and improves throughput from 4 samples / day to 30 samples / day without compromising analysis accuracy. As a result, we were able to perform analyzes that required high-throughput analysis, such as clinical samples, samples prepared under multiple conditions, and analysis of samples for reproducibility confirmation. In this presentation, I would like to discuss the impact of increased analysis throughput on MS based proteomic analysis with examples.
