レーザーアブレーション–ICP質量分析法による高速イメージング分析

This presentation describes new analytical protocol for the elemental imaging using a laser ablation-ICP-mass spectrometry coupled with laser ablation sampling technique. The LA-ICPMS technique has opened up new applications for biochemistry, such as in-situ trace-element determinations for biological tissue samples, or sensitive and rapid elemental mapping analysis (imaging mass spectrometry). To take a full advantage of the LA-ICPMS technique for the elemental imaging analysis, both the system setup and data handling protocol were carefully optimized, and the analysis throughput was dramatically improved. The technique developed in this study can be applied for the 3D analysis of trace-elements from various solid materials including biological tissues or minerals.
