プラズマイオン源質量分析法を用いた降水中有機硫黄化合物の一斉定量の試み
Sulfur containing organic compounds in rainwater were quantified by HPLC-ICP-MS. Several hydrophilic-hydrophobic S species originated from oxidation of dimethyl sulfide were separated by anion exchange chromatography eluted with organic acids, and introduce to inductively coupled plasma (ICP). The S species were ionized as S+ in the high temperature ionization source, and detected as SO+ through an ion-molecular interaction with O2 gas in the collision/reaction cell to avoid the severe background interference of O2+ originated from air and water. The advantages of ICP-MS in matrix robustness and molecular-independent constant sensitivity will enable us to detect unidentified molecules in various environmental samples.
