Mass Spectrometric analysis in Enzymatic Synthesis of the Complex Natural Products
Recently, we developed several methods to synthesize various structurally complex natural products using genomic data which are readily available by DNA sequencing and/or download from public databases. In our studies on the enzymatic synthesis of fungal metabolites, we adopt heterologous expression of the biosynthetic genes clustered in the genome of producer strains using a robust host Aspergillus oryzae. In this presentation, I will introduce our recent biosynthetic studies of fungal metabolites.
