Introducing Agilent's New Column Poroshell 120 CS-C18
This Agilent Technologies Lunch-on-seminar will introduce you to Agilent's new column, “Poroshell 120 CS-C18”, which is useful for LC-MS analysis. CS-C18 is a Poroshell 120 serious column: surface porous column with low back pressure and high column efficiency for fast and high-resolution separations. The CS-C18 column has the characteristic that the surface of the particles filled in the column is positively charged. Therefore, peptide analysis is possible in the mobile phase using formic acid as acidic additive, which is suitable for LC-MS analysis. Using the CS-C18 column, highly polar organophosphorus compounds, glyphosate and other polar pesticides, were also possible to analyze that are difficult to analyze with conventional reversed-phase columns. The CS-C18 column has significant features: wide range of pH tolerance (pH 1-11) and reducing this overload effect in impurity analyses. As a metal-free column, CS-C18 column have a peek-lined column option. In this seminar, we will introduce the latest analysis example of CS-C18.
