Collision-Induced Dissociations of Nucleobase Cluster Ions
Time-, temperature-, and OPIG-DC voltage-resolved collisional reactions of nucleobase cluster ions to gaseous molecules were examined in the gas phase. Collision-induced dissociation (CID) of the ions including guanine, guanosine, deoxyguanosine, or acyclovir with a sodium or a potassium atoms were examined. Distribution of product ions was dependent on OPIG-DC voltage (VDC). With increase of VDC, sequential decompositions proceeded, which would relate to specific stability of G-quadruplex.
