ABOUT BMS SYMPOSIUM 2016:
The life phenomenon is indeed a wide area of research from a plant to animal that have a lot of unclear points. Recently, direct detection of biological sample by mass spectrometry is trending to reveal the wonder life phenomenon. This Conference is organized by the Division of Mass Spectrometry Society of Japan (MSSJ) which is supported by 8500 Japanese chemists all over Japan, who work in academia, industry and government. In our symposium, we focus the direct detection of biological sample by MS and discuss you point of view on creative MS such as ambient MS, and MALDI-imaging. For this symposium, several special features must be mentioned. A call for arranged sessions will be made and will offer the opportunity to organize topical sessions with three key-note lectures and poster sessions including new ionization method and chromatographic method and so on to be a breakthrough structural identification. The general character of the program provides participants with a unique chance of an overlook of contemporary mass spectrometry.
