極低温イオントラップを用いた気相光解離分光装置の製作と分子クラスターラジカルイオンへの適用
Spectroscopy of gas-phase ions isolated in a cryogenic (~4 K) ion trap has been a powerful tool to investigate the intrinsic electronic and geometrical structures of target ions, in which any perturbation caused by impurities, solvents, counterions, and environmental heat can be totally eliminated. We recently started to develop a new cryogenic gas-phase spectrometer, which is specifically designated for radical ions of molecular clusters. In this talk, we discuss a design of our new spectrometer under development and recent application for photodissociation spectroscopy of radical cation of carbon disulfide dimer ([(CS2)2]•+).
