アラニンペプチドのD-アミノ酸認識と反応性
D-Amino acid recognition of peptides was investigated using a tandem mass spectrometer equipped with an electrospray ionization source and a cold ion trap. UV photodissociation spectroscopy and water adsorption of hydrogen-bonded protonated clusters of alanine-based peptides and tryptophan enantiomers were carried out at 8 K in the gas phase. The experimental results showed that information on the relationships between the structures and chemical properties of hydrogen-bonded clusters was useful for the investigation of molecular recognition and its effects on the reactivity of amino acids.
